Program tuition, including application fee and course deposit, is $1800.00 (some courses have an additional lab fee). Tuition covers room, board, instructional staff, textbook/s, and most recreational activities.

Credit Card Payment

NSU’s ADVANCE Program accepts credit card payment for the balance of the student’s enrollment fee. If you are accepted to ADVANCE, a credit card authorization form will be mailed to you in your acceptance packet. Complete the form and either mail it to the ADVANCE office or phone the ADVANCE office and provide the required information. Do not fax the credit card form to ADVANCE.

Refund Policy

The $30.00 application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The $100.00 course deposit will be refunded only under the following circumstances:

1. The applicant is unable to be placed into any of the courses he/she selected on the application and is currently on the wait list.
2. The applicant has requested financial aid but does not receive a sufficient financial aid award – providing that notice is given to ADVANCE by April 6, 2009 (applicants in grades 8, 9, 10, and 11) or April 24, 2009 (applicants in grade 7).

The $100.00 deposit will not be refunded under the following circumstances:

1. The applicant has been placed into a course of his or her choice and did not apply for financial aid.
2. The applicant has applied for financial aid and either chooses to withdraw the program application or turn down the financial aid award, and fails to notify ADVANCE by April 6, 2009 (applicants in grades 8, 9, 10, and 11) or by April 24, 2009 (applicants in grade 7 only).

The last day to withdraw from the program with partial refund is April 6, 2009 (applicants in grades 8, 9, 10, and 11) or by April 24, 2009 (applicants in grade 7).

NOTE: No refund will be granted if a student leaves the program early or if a student is asked to leave the program for poor academic effort or misconduct.
